Lisa Buchanan is a Licensed Professional Counselor with designation as a Mental Health Service Provider. She completed her Master’s Degree in Counseling at Milligan
University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Master’s Degree and PhD in Human Development
and Family Studies from Penn State University. Lisa provides therapy to couples and individuals, including leaders in ministry, using an integrative, strengths-based approach.
She is a Gottman-trained couples’ counselor and is a member of the American Association for Christian Counselors (AACC).
Spiritual Statement: I believe that God values each one of us as beloved children and longs to grant us wholeness, freedom, insight, and joy in Christ. I believe that God has a life of purpose and meaning for each person and I love being able to journey alongside those who wish to heal and grow.
